About this wheel

Feelings wheels descend from two pieces of foundational work: Robert Plutchik's Wheel of Emotions (1980) and Gloria Willcox's Feeling Wheel (1982). The version embedded above is a popular twelve-emotion variant that builds on both. If you know the original designer of this specific configuration, let us know and we'll credit them properly.

This isn't therapy. It's a tool for slowing down and naming what you're feeling with a little more precision. Naming a feeling doesn't fix it. It just makes it a little less loud. If what comes up needs more than awareness, reach out.
